Where It All Began
The Lykoi breed began in 2010 in Virginia, USA, when a friendly black domestic shorthair named Scruffy produced a litter of kittens, one of which had a unique, partially hairless appearance. This natural mutation was developed responsibly and is now recognized by TICA.
